La verifica del certificato autofirmato/scaduto con la libreria openssl non restituisce l'errore

Sto provando a scrivere una funzione di convalida del certificato in C utilizzando la libreria openssl. Poiché il certificato che sto convalidando è autofirmato e scaduto, mi aspetto che X509_verify_cert() restituisca un errore (il valore restituito è 1 e l'errore store_ctx-> è impostato su X509_V_OK). 'OpenSSL verificare my_pem_cert_file' uscite:

error 18 at 0 depth lookup:self signed certificate 
error 10 at 0 depth lookup:certificate has expired

Quando la convalida del certificato auto-firmato e scaduto, le mie stampe funzione: errore 0 a 0 di profondità: ok

La funzione X509_STORE_add_cert() aggiunge il corrispondente certificato come un certificato attendibile per verifica, in modo da questa linea:

X509_STORE_add_cert(cert_store, pX509) 

dice che il certificato pX509 è attendibile per la verifica - ma questo è il certificato che si desidera verificare, quindi è per questo che una CER auto-firmato il certificato sta superando la verifica.

Inoltre non si imposta un tempo di verifica - ecco perché non viene rilevato un certificato scaduto. Imposta il tempo di verifica con X509_STORE_CTX_set_time().
