Scaricare un file PDF e salvarlo in sdcard e poi leggere da lì

devo scaricare un file pdf da un URL e salvarlo la scheda SD e poi leggerla. ho ottenuto attraverso molti codici e ho trovato questo

Intent browserIntent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW, Uri.parse("*url for your pdf*")); 
startActivity(browserIntent); 

ma come per salvarlo nella scheda SD nel mio percorso desiderato e poi leggerlo da lì.
