perché non funziona in postgreSQL quando funziona in modo impeccabile in Mysql ???

Sembra che si stia tentando di utilizzare un operatore LIKE su una colonna integer (ovvero rent). Non credo che funzionerà (almeno nei postgres).

In base alle risposte here si potrebbe desiderare di provare ad aggiungere un cast:

@listings = Listing.where("cast(rent as text) LIKE ? OR city LIKE ? OR ...
