Perché un'immagine di annotazione personalizzata di MKMapView scompare al tatto?

Sto annotando la mia mappa e impostando un'immagine bene, ma quando tocco l'annotazione su MapView, l'immagine passa dalla mia immagine personalizzata al pin rosso. Perchè è questo?

Rispondere alla mia domanda qui, nel caso in cui altri abbiano lo stesso problema. Si noti che sto usando "MKPinAnnotationView" - dovrebbe essere cambiato in "MKAnnotationView" e tutto funziona.
