Come modificare il file XML esistente con XmlDocument e XmlNode in C#

Question

Ho già implementato per creare il file XML di seguito con XmlTextWriter durante l'inizializzazione dell'applicazione.

E sai che io non so come aggiornare il valore id childNode con XmlDocument & XmlNode.

Esiste qualche proprietà per aggiornare il valore ID? Ho provato InnerText ma non ci sono riuscito. grazie.
