So che questo è di 5 anni dopo che il filo è stato avviato, ma mi piacerebbe aggiungere una leggera variazione delle soluzioni proposte finora, nel caso in cui aiuti qualcun altro (in definitiva, questo è ciò che ho dovuto inventare).
Il potenziale problema di cui sopra, è che se implementato in modo ingenuo su un database con centinaia di tabelle e migliaia di campi, uno sviluppatore potrebbe prima interrogare l'insieme di tabelle e quindi all'interno di un ciclo, interrogare tutti i campi per ogni tabella . Che martella il server del database. So che nessuno ha specificamente suggerito di usare un loop, ma nessuno ha messo in guardia. E, francamente, è una sorta di implicito nel modo in cui le risposte sono strutturate, in quanto dicono effettivamente "prima query tutte le tabelle, successiva ricerca di tutti i campi". Tradotto nel codice, quel processo non può essere altro che un loop.
Un modo migliore (IMO) per compiere la domanda iniziale è quello di eseguire una query come:
SELECT table_schema, table_name, column_name
FROM information_schema.columns
WHERE table_schema in ('a', 'b', 'c', 'd')
dove a, b, c, d, ... sono gli schemi con le tabelle che si cura di articolare.
Questo fornisce un set di dati che non è normalizzato, ma ciò non ha importanza dal momento che lo si consuma con un'app in ogni caso - è banale analizzare il risultato a livello di app nel modo desiderato e Ho solo colpito il server del database con una query superleggera, invece di possibilmente centinaia all'interno di un ciclo.
