invia e-mail con allegato utilizzando php

Ho usato questo codice per inviare e-mail con allegato utilizzando php, ma c'è un errore nell'attaccamento poiché ricevo una e-mail e l'allegato appare nel contenuto. prima di usare lo stesso codice e ha funzionato correttamente. perché???

Si può fare come descritto nel tutorial this oppure è possibile utilizzare uno dei moduli PEAR per inviare un messaggio di posta elettronica con un allegato come descritto nel tutorial this.

L'utilizzo di PEAR è probabilmente l'opzione migliore in quanto è più semplice da eseguire. L'unica avvertenza è che PEAR non è disponibile su tutti gli host.

per quale motivo non utilizzare phpmailer? ad esempio per un allegato:
