Browserify con Riot Tag personalizzati con errore di tipo

Sto cercando di utilizzare tag personalizzati riot con browserify.

Sono solo confuso con l'errore e cosa sta andando male. Posso compilare la giada in html senza problemi. Ecco l'esempio nei documenti. https://github.com/jhthorsen/riotify#usage

Potrebbe dipendere dal fatto che la dipendenza jade non è installata. Ho appena controllato la traccia dello stack di tale errore e che punti a questa linea:

return _req('jade').render(html, extend({ 

in modo da provare l'aggiunta di jade e poi correre di nuovo.
