Nella maggior parte delle impostazioni internazionali, il primo giorno della settimana è lunedì. Negli Stati Uniti (e presumibilmente altrove), la settimana inizia domenica.

Come si può scoprire in PHP, per un locale arbitrario, l'impostazione corrente per il primo giorno della settimana (domenica o lunedì)?

In PHP , chiama un processo per eseguire questo comando in sh e ottenere l'output. In Python, mi fa una cosa del genere:
