Come posso ottenere il mio file web.config per mostrare gli errori in remoto?

Sto cercando di visualizzare gli errori per il mio sito web, quando vado al luogo ottengo questo messaggio:

Server Error in '/' Application. 

Runtime Error 

Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine. 

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

Quindi quello che ho fatto è creare un file web.config con questo in esso:

    </system.web> 
</configuration> 

Ma purtroppo per me questo ha davvero fatto la differenza. Cosa sto facendo di sbagliato qui ragazzi?

Prova questo: CustomErrors mode="Off"

A proposito, asp net modelli di progetto includono file web.config (dovrebbe essere nella cartella principale del progetto), quindi non c'è bisogno di creare manualmente. Potresti averne creato un altro?
